A NEW YEAR

Where has the time gone????  We are now entering our 14th year of service to our wonderful clients.  2012 was an interesting and exciting year.

As I pondered my thoughts and feelings while on my extended vacation, I realized that I had much to discover about myself.  I watched Joyce Meyer every day and one day she talked about the stages of spirituality and I believe I am in the transitional stage.  I also realized that I don't like being all alone for a long period of time.  A quirk about me.  I love being with people.  I love doing my job.  As much as I love the peace of Clear Lake, I really discovered I love being at home.  I love the people, animals and friends I have made.  I enjoyed the friendships I made at Clear Lake but my comfort and peace are really right here on our farm.   I discovered my greatest joy while being away is to create memories.  It was a bit frustrating when challenges like the flu, back pain, weather, obstacles, negative energy got in the way of making those memories but none the less positive memories were made in the midst of challenges. We can learn from these challenges.  God created for me a different kind of vacation and I will look back and thank him for the lessons I learned and the strength I gained from the challenges.

As we enter 2013 we need to think about our goals for the year.

Goals you say:
Personal goal is to mediate more and be with God in the those quiet moments, to sleep better, let go and let God, more exercise, eat healthier and be more at peace.

ASPIRE Goals:
Goal for this year is to find 10-20 acres of land.  Continue growing our building fund.  Raise more awareness, successful special events, serve more clients, enjoy and play with our horses more, create and absorb the beautiful memories. Increase our donor base.  Count our blessings everyday.  Remember to thank and appreciate all that are involved in the organization and our lives.  Increase and retain our volunteer base.   Live out each day with goals and love in our hearts.   There is much to do for 2013 and a bit overwhelming with each day comes a new challenge and more blessings.   Reach out more and serve more and be the best we can be.   Love, Hope, Belief and Power.   We will live this out in 2013.   Thank you for making 2012 a wonderful year.   I am truly honored and filled with gratitude.   I wish everyone a healthy, loving and abundant year in 2013.  Go in peace, joy, laughter and the greatest of these is love.
